Description
703 SOOTHE is helpful for a multitude of conditions that make your skin feel hot and irritated. We always keep a bottle in the fridge, partly so it’s extra cold on hot skin, but also so it’s handy for mild incidental burns and scalds in the kitchen.*
This gem was originally created when one of our founders underwent radiotherapy for breast cancer. 703 SOOTHE contains an Aloe Vera and Bulgarian Rose gel which cools, hydrates, soften and soothes, as well as Lavender which provides anti-inflammatory and calming benefits. The star performer is German Chamomile, exceptionally high in azulene and chamazulene, which are both known for their anti-inflammatory properties and for helping to dissipate heat.
This product is formulated to help minimise damage and discomfort. German Chamomile costs tens of thousands of dollars per litre, but we choose it because it’s the best, most natural ingredient for this purpose. We also use Aloe Vera that’s dehydrated without preservatives as that’s the most pure and safe form, but instead of reconstituting it with water, we use Bulgarian Rose hydrosol. This is expensive and incredibly decadent but brings additional soothing skin benefits. Overall, the relief is more than physical – there’s the reassurance you feel using something so pure and natural at a time when things are painful and difficult.
*Important note: this is not a substitute for seeking medical attention. Please see a doctor if the burn or scald is more than mild.
For those undergoing radiotherapy, one bottle is sufficient for the standard 4-5 week course of treatment.
