So we do it for you.My co-founder was in the hair and beauty industry for over thirty years. When we started Y natural, the hair and beauty industry had the highest incidence of breast cancer of all industries – and my co-founder was one of those 'statistics'. If ever there was a sign that an industry needs an overhaul this was it. Years before getting breast cancer, she was already alarmed by the state of the industry and had gone to university to study chemistry. She’s no longer with us, but her experience was hugely influential on the decisions to start Y natural and the products we would make together.
Of course a life-long beauty industry person and breast cancer survivor would want a luxurious, effective product range that was supremely healthy and beneficial to the people who use it. And of course, for me, as someone who’d studied the natural sciences in the 80s and who remains passionate about science to this day, I would want our business to protect the world in which we live. This makes perfect sense.
